Jesus Christ, the Name of Love Proclaimed in Kenya, Africa

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

Before He ascended into Heaven the Lord, who was crucified and resurrected, requested of the people to proclaim salvation to all people. As He commanded, Manmin Central Church has been devoted to national evangelism and the world mission with powerful works of God since the opening. Currently, with its approximately ten thousand branch and associate churches, the church is working as the Lord's witness to the remotest part of the earth through the literary mission with books, periodicals and a newspaper, and the broadcast media of television and internet.

In particular, overseas united crusades triggered the full-scale level of the world mission such as Uganda Holy Gospel Crusade 2000 featured on CNN and crusades crowded with hundreds of thousands to even millions of people in Pakistan, India, and New York in U.S. In Israel, signs, wonders, and amazing powerful works occurred and Dr. Jaerock Lee proclaimed Jesus Christ is our only Savior.

Kenya is the gateway to Africa and a very important spot geographically. Let's take a moment to have a look at yesterday and today.

Spiritual awakening occurred in the greatest crusade in Kenya Christian history

Dr. Jaerock Lee led the Holy Gospel Crusade from June 29 through July 1 in Uhuru Park in Nairobi, Kenya. He preached the messages entitled "God the Creator", "Why Is Jesus Our Only Savior?", and "God the Healer" manifesting the evidences of the living God.

When Dr. Lee prayed for the sick on the stage, the disabled stood up from their wheel chairs and walked. Witnessing it, the attendees shouted with joy and gave glory and thanks to God. Also, demons went out, the blind came to see, the deaf to hear, and the mute to speak. Many diseases including AIDS were healed.

Approximately three hundred thousand people attended. It was the greatest number of attendees in a crusade in Kenya's history. Even organizing committee members were surprised saying it was unprecedented that the event was attended by so many people. The crusade was broadcast live nationwide via Kenyan national broadcaster KBC TV and also by radio. The actual number of people who joined the crusade via broadcasting was immeasurably great.

Before the crusade, Pastors' Seminar was also held. Through Dr. Lee's prayer on the stage, more than one thousand people were healed immediately at the venue. A local influential daily newspaper reported the event saying that they had never seen such miracles and great signs that had been manifested, and that Dr. Jaerock Lee is a truthful man of God man. This initiated spiritual awakening in African Christian churches and subsequently, a very large number of churches registered as Manmin's branch or associate churches.

Active mission works have been carried out in 54 countries in Africa

After the crusade, many people were healed of their traumatic injuries and of diseases through the handkerchief of power on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). This is because Bishop Dr. Myongho Cheong, Chairman of United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, Africa (ministering to Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya) has conducted handkerchief healing crusades and numerous people have been healed of their diseases and many have reached salvation.

Bishop Dr. Cheong also conducted Pastors' Seminars. By doing so, he confirmed his messages to African pastors with signs that followed. He also has taught the holiness gospel by opening Manmin International Bible Seminary for African souls' growth in faith. Dr. Lee's sermons are also broadcast nationwide via Family TV. The people are also constantly provided with spiritual food through Dr. Lee's books and Manmin News.

Handkerchief Healing Crusades have been held in Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church

On May 27, 2014, a handkerchief healing meeting was held in Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya. It was a weekday, but over 1,700 people attended. It commenced with local praise singers' performance and Manmin Performing Arts Committee's Power Team's powerful dance and special songs in the local language.

Rev. Heesun Lee, Manmin World Guidance Pastor, preached the message entitled "Faith". She emphasized that we need the Word of God and prayer to become true Christians. Then, she prayed for the sick people one by one with the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed.

Brother Evans, aged 47, who relied on crutches due to a fractured leg caused by a car accident, came to walk without any help. Sister Rona, aged 32, who couldn't move her body parts from neck to hip due to neural pressure around her backbone, came to freely move her body after the prayer.

Sister Emily Oluchi, aged 36, was suffering because her legs were rotting due to chronic ulcerations. She had skin grafts four times. When she received Rev. Heesun Lee's prayer, she felt that her legs became light. Next day, her doctor said, "The skin graft is supposed to be applied on the skin normally around July or later, but it is amazing that your skin is being recovered very quickly."

Besides, a number of people were healed of arthritis, high blood pressure, chest pain, and high fever and they glorified God.
