GCN Broadcasting was founded solely to spread the glory of God the Trinity and the gospel to all nations of the world following God's will in its Christian broadcast ministry. The world is now becoming globalized through new media such Social Network Services and rapid transport systems, which makes the broadcasting services highly influential.
Now is the end time when sin and darkness are even more rampant than the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. Christians should play a pivotal role as light and salt of the world, deliver the gospel to all the corners of the earth, and prepare for the second coming of the Lord. To fulfill such duties, the broadcast ministry is a necessity. In times such as these, GCN TV has been spreading the gospel of God, the love of Jesus Christ, and the fiery works of the Holy Spirit to the whole world.
Current State of Broadcasting
In January, 2000, we started up GCN TV with only faith. Today, it has grown to deliver the gospel to the whole globe and has become a crucial part in the broadcast world by establishing the network with distinguished broadcasters and press media both in and out of Korea. The life-filled Word and the powerful works proclaimed on GCN TV has become very powerful because innumerable viewers who have experienced the love and power of God, resolved real-life problems, and discovered the true value of life through its programming. The high-quality image produced with HD technology, the varied contents, and its high standard programs have been broadcast in more than 170 countries through the partnership with other broadcasters in the world. Letters of thanksgiving and letters of request for prayer that transcends time and national boundaries have been flooding into its stations.
The Vision
GCN TV's goal is aimed at being the world's foremost Christian TV station that guides all nations to the Lord Jesus. It will expand the broadcasting domain and media platform so that all viewers from all nations can watch GCN's programs anytime and anywhere. After considering each regional characteristic, GCN will build the network connecting the entire globe and come close to viewers with various media including mobile phones, Internet, cable TV, and satellite television. In particular, the programs will be produced in more languages than now so that local people can understand the Word of Life more clearly and watch the works of power more vividly. In addition, GCN Broadcasting will link Christian TV stations and branch and associative churches, which accelerates the process of the global parish.
