[Feature Story] I Would Like to Spread the Ministry of Manmin to the Whole World through the Internet

Sergey Velbovets is the founder of InVictory Christian Media Group and
Christian Internet-portal www.invictory.org. It is one of the world's largest online Christian portal sites serving Russian speakers worldwide. He recently visited Manmin Central Church. It was special devotion of Manmin members to God that motivated him to visit the church. We will take a closer look at his media ministry and his views on Manmin's ministry.


1. Can you tell us about yourself and the work of your ministry?

I am Sergey Velbovets. I am the founder and the president of both 'In Victory Media' (www.invictory.org) and the Christian Telegraph (www.christiantelegraph.com). Around 20 years ago, God allowed me to harbor a vision that would spread the gospel through high-technology of the 21st century. When the occasion arose I started up the Christian websites such as In Victory and Christian Telegraph. Now the websites are visited by over a million English-speaking and Russian-speaking people per month from more than 80 countries. I believe the Internet is a crucial tool to deliver the gospel to the whole world.


2. What kinds of reactions are netizens showing who have read about the ministry of Manmin?

People have taken a keen interest in 'What Is True Christian Like?' In response to your question, the articles on Manmin Central Church and Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee have had great influence on netizens [a portmanteau of the English words internet and citizen being an entity or person actively involved in online communities and a user of the internet]. Many dub themselves Christians, but their lives of faith have been changed negatively or in a bad way and they just have shown superficial deeds as Christians. However, Manmin members explicitly demonstrate what true Christians are like and a number of people have learned about a heartfelt devotion towards God. They also have asked for Dr. Lee's prayer with longing for the powerful works manifested in the church.


3. Could you tell us one of the testimonies from your visitors who received healing through Dr. Lee's prayer?

You can post your prayer requests to Dr. Lee on In Victory website. When Rev. Dr. Lee prays for their prayer titles, the works of healing and answers happen to them and they give glory to God. There are many testimonies, but I want to talk about one in particular. A pastor's son had such serious lung disease that hospitals couldn't cure it. So he asked for Dr. Lee's prayer through In Victory. After they received the prayer three times, his son was completely healed. Then, the pastor bought a bunch of Dr. Lee's books and spread them to children who were hospitalized saying to parents, "Your children can also be healed if you pray after reading the books."




4. Why did you select Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee as one of the 'Top 10 Most Influential Christian Leader' for two years in a row?

This is because his ministry now covers the whole world, and should be valued. Pastors all around the world desire to have firsthand experience of Manmin's miracles and fruit. I believe that our choice will make Dr. Lee's devotional Christian life known to the missionary organizations over the world and set the world aflame in Christian revival.




5. What do you feel after spending time in Manmin Central Church?

I think Manmin Central Church has gained momentum from the explosive power of Dr. Jaerock Lee who loves the members more than his own family. The members also love God's sanctuary just as they love their own bodies. They are longing to become sanctified and to take New Jerusalem by force with all their hearts, minds, and souls. What's impressive, in particular, was that the members make dedications in preparing for the church events and activities for nothing. I am convinced that Manmin Central Church will spearhead the world revival since the church has shown good examples of true Christian lives to those who are lukewarm in faith and do not serve God sincerely. Manmin Central Church has to keep playing such a critical role.




6. What's your future plan of your ministry?

Until now, I have publicized news about Manmin Central Church through media campaign. And, the news has been spread throughout the online community. Russian-speaking and English-speaking pastors are far more interested in the ministry. I would like to connect pastors in the world and Manmin Central Church via Internet. Seeing people who came to know Manmin receive grace and become the flock of Manmin, I could realize the providence towards the church. I am eager to spread such great works of God.


7. Do you have anything you would like to say to Dr. Lee?

I have seen many influential pastors all over the world, but I rarely have met a pastor like Dr. Lee who serves the church members for 24 hours a day. I think God knew his heart and gave him His power, blessings, and revival. Most pastors need to learn his ministry, attitude towards the ministry, and ways to take care of the church members. We, In Victory will do our best for his ministry to be known to pastors all around the world.
