[Interview] Miraculous Healing Works Proved the Existence of God

Dr. and Professor Zipporah Ngumi, president of World Christian Doctors Network, Kenya paid a visit to Manmin Central Church in October, 2011. She has been working as the chairperson of the Organizing Committee for the 9th International Christian Medical Conference scheduled to be held in Nairobi, Kenya in 2012. She said, "Manmin members love the Lord with sincerity and diligence. They serve each other out of love, which was very impressive." We had an interview with her. The following are her key-point ideas on the 9th International Christian Medical Conference in Kenya and the ministry of Manmin.
 Dr. and Professor Zipporah Ngumi is a well-known doctor who worked as the president of the School of Medicine at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She was assured that God would receive great glory through the conference that will be held there in 2012. In addition to attending services and visiting the Muan Sweet Water Site, Dr. Ngumi had a conversation with Dr. Lee, and also appeared as a guest on the GCN TV program, 'Christian Today'.
Q1: How is it that you have come to visit Manmin Central Church?
A: I work as the chief anesthetist for Kenyata National Hospital and as a professor and consultant physician of Nairobi University (School of Medicine). I also came to work as chairperson of the 9th International Christian Medical Conference Organizing Committee. Dr. Jaerock Lee is the founder and board chairman of WCDN but he also ministers to Manmin Central Church. I had a longing to see and experience the powerful works of God firsthand that were taking place in Manmin Central Church. It so happened that I had a chance to pay a visit to the church to celebrate its 29th Anniversary. Here, I was encouraged to have greater faith.

Q2: How did you come to know about WCDN?
A) Dr. Nobert Rakiro, one of my students, has attended the international medical conferences hosted by WCDN three times. He talked about God's healing works that were discussed in the conferences. While talking to me, he asked if I believed in such works manifested by God. I answered, "Yes," and through him I came to know about the ministry of WCDN in detail. I became deeply interested in it.
Q3: So, you do believe that people can receive healing by faith, correct?
A) Yes, I do. I have also seen such cases firsthand. I don't think the works of healing have stopped occurring when Jesus Christ finished His ministry on the earth, since the apostles manifested the power of God as well. I am sure that the healing works of God have been taking place and will take place until the Lord comes back.
Q4: What is the main theme of the 9th International Christian Medical Conference that will be held in 2012?
A) The theme is 'Spirituality & Medicine' as usual. The message we want to deliver in the conference is that "God is alive and He is working even today so that miraculous healing can still take place." We are proving the fact with medical data.

Q5: How will you show this medical evidence?
A) We will show the medical data such as doctors' records of 'before prayer' and 'after prayer.' This is very important since people doubt the fact that they can be healed by faith. If we show medical data to them, even unbelieving doctors will no longer doubt and Christian doctors will have heightened desire to pray for their patients. They will never give up on patients who even have terminal cancer, AIDS, heart failure, stroke and many other diseases.
Q6: What did you feel when you met with Dr. Jaerock Lee, Founder and Board Chairman of WCDN?
A) I had already read Dr. Lee's books, The Message of the Cross and My Life My Faith I & II. When I saw him in person, I could sense his humbleness that I had felt while reading his books. He loves God very much. He doesn't seem like the senior pastor of such a big church. He is more like a humble servant. He serves God, church members, and all people. He delivers the love of the Lord and the way of salvation. His sincere faith in Jesus Christ is well-described in his book, which should be spread widely.
Q7: Do you have anything you want to say to Dr. Jaerock Lee?
A) Manmin Central Church has a lot of things to do for the world. Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya has successfully preached the gospel as its branch church. Manmin Central Church set a good example through members' unity and devotion for the kingdom of God. The church has become the model for all mission groups around the world. I think Dr. Lee is a spiritual leader for the world as a whole. His teaching and his ways to love God should be made known to people all over the world. I would like to extend the ministry of Manmin onto the whole world as well. May the blessings of the Lord come upon Dr. Lee and Manmin members. I hope they will continue to work hard for the kingdom of God. Thank you.
