Bethlehem Egypt and Nazareth The Lake of Galilee Jerusalem

The 777-day Israeli ministry Dr. Jaerock Lee had begun on July 23, 2007 ended up a great success at the 2009 International Multi-cultural Festival in ICC in Jerusalem on September 6 and 7, 2009. In commemoration of the festival, we are surveying the footprints of the Savior and Lord Jesus.

The Providence of Salvation Is Embedded in The City of Jerusalem

The city of Jerusalem has more than 5,000 years of inhabited history. During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. Laying the city of Jerusalem in independent control of the Jebusites, King David of Israel first established Jerusalem as the capital of the United Kingdom of Israel in 1000 BC. His son, Solomon commissioned the building of the First Temple in the city. For more than 400 years, until the Babylonian conquest in 587 BC, Jerusalem was the political and religious capital of the United Kingdom of Israel and then the Kingdom of Judah. The First Temple period ended around 586 BC, as the Babylonians conquered Judah and Jerusalem, and laid waste to Solomon's Temple. The Temple and the city walls were almost destroyed and the Jews were taken away into slavery in Babylon. In 538 BC, after 50 years of Babylonian captivity, Persian King Cyrus the Great invited the Jews to return to Judah to rebuild the Temple. Construction of the Second Temple was completed in 516 BC, during the reign of Darius the Great, 70 years after the destruction of the First Temple.

The city of Jerusalem symbolizes the place of the choosing, presence, protection and glory of God, and at the same time, the place of judgment due to the disobedience of Israel. The second half of the public ministry of Jesus was accomplished here in Jerusalem, and it is characterized with Jesus' crucifixion for God's providence of salvation, resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and the Descent of the Holy Spirit, and the multiplication of the early churches. Despite all these facts, the Jews are still awaiting their Messiah without accepting Jesus as their Savior and many Orthodox Jews are living in the city of Jerusalem centering Judaism in Jerusalem.

The Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations

Gethsemane is a garden at the western foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It overlooks the Kidron Valley, well known as the place where Jesus and His disciples regularly visited. Jesus was the Son of God. He came to the earth in a human form. He prayed with His disciples in this place the night before His crucifixion. Gethsemane is also a place that allowed for Judas to be able to find Jesus on the night of His arrest.

The Church of All Nations was established in commemoration of the fact that Jesus prayed for the salvation of the souls at the Garden of Gethsemane, by the sponsorship of 16 nations including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, UK, Belgium, Canada, Germany, USA, Ireland, Hungary, Poland and Australia.

Via Dolorosa, the Way of Suffering

Via Dolorosa is Latin words for the 'Way of Grief' or 'Way of Suffering' and is a street, in two parts, within the Old City of Jerusalem, held to be the path that Jesus walked carrying His cross on the way to His crucifixion. The current route was established in the 18th century, replacing various earlier versions and today it is 800 meters. The route is a place of Christian pilgrimage.

Via Dolorosa: the route followed by Christ from the place of His condemnation to Calvary for His crucifixion

The Third Station of the Cross: the place where Jesus fell the first time while carrying the heavy cross

1. The Twelfth Station of the Cross: the place where Jesus died on the cross
2. The Fourteenth Station of the Cross: the place where Jesus was laid in the tomb prepared by Joseph Arimathea

The Western Wall and an Islamic Mosque Set up at the Former Site of the Temple of God

The Western Wall (Hebrew: הכותל המערבי‎) is also called 'Wailing Wall' or 'Kotel' and known by Arabs as Ḥā'iṭ Al-Burāq. It is located in the Old City of Jerusalem at the foot of the western side of the Temple Mount. It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple that was completely destroyed by the Roman soldiers in 70 AD. It is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism. The Western Wall had been a symbol of the dream of the Jews, who had been scattered all over the globe for 2,000 years. It is still a symbol of their dream of the Temple of God. While suffering from all afflictions and persecutions as a people who had no nation, they petitioned to God concerning their sufferings and pains. They have mourned here with many tears. That's why it was named the' Wailing Wall.'

At the site of the Temple of God is an Islamic mosque. During the destruction of Israel, Gentiles conquered the land of Israel and made it their holy land. Jerusalem is always at stake in the midst of unceasing disputes between Israel and Arab countries.

Dr. Jaerock Lee's Israeli Ministry for the Return of the Gospel into the Land of Israel

Since the founding of Manmin Central Church, Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed to awaken Israel, and from July of 2007 until September of 2009, he flew to Israel 12 times and traveled throughout all of Israel. In November of 2007, for his Israeli ministry, Urim Books published the book 'Awaken, Israel!' The book depicts the providence of God to awaken Israel and save them. Both nights, on September 6th and 7th 2009, he conducted a united crusade (2009 International Multi-cultural Festival) in ICC in Jerusalem under the auspices of Crystal Forum Association. At this festival he delivered two messages titled with "God the Creator" and "Why Is Jesus our Only Savior?" Each night, after preaching the message, he prayed for the sick from the podium and many people were healed and magnified the name of God.

This 2009 International Multi-cultural Festival held with theme of 'God Is Great' was attended by thousands of people from 36 nations and was translated into 8 languages. And it was also broadcast live and rebroadcast to 220 nations via 33 television stations and satellites including EnLace TV, CNL TV, TBN-Russia, Digital Congo TV, GCN TV, DayStar, Miracle TV, and Heaven 7 TV. It is true that Israel is the birthplace of the gospel of salvation and Jesus fulfilled God's providence of salvation through His crucifixion and resurrection, but it is never easy to spread the gospel in Israel. When Dr. Lee proclaimed Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Savior in Israel, it was really a historical moment. Through this festival and Dr. Lee's 3-year ministry to every corner of the nation, Israel has been being awakened and Christianity is prospering. It is because the manifestation of many biblical miracles and healing works caused the Word of God and faith in Christ to be planted into their hearts. But this is just the beginning of the spreading of the gospel in Israel. Until the Lord comes back and during the 7-year Great Tribulation, the messianic Jews have to fulfill many duties for the gospel.
