One day in January 2024, I woke up in the morning and felt pain in my neck. I could feel a small lump. As time passed, the lump grew bigger and bigger to turn into a bump, and the affected area became swollen. It was easily visible, so I turned up my collar or covered it with a scarf. ...

"Hey! Driver! Wheel right!"
Last April 10 th , which was on a Sunday, I went on a trip to Chiri Mountain with a few members of amateurs' climbers that I met on the Internet. I experienced a marvelous thing in the bus on the way to Namwon City. While our bus was running down a steep road, its brake was broken and it began to run in a zigzagging down that steep road. The bus crossed the median strip and crashed into the other side's rocky walls. Sparks flew from hitting against the rocks and the bus turned back across the median strip again. Then it began to run toward the edge of the cliff face. In an instant we were on the very edge of death. Sitting on the seat next to the driver, I repented that I did not keep the day of the Lord but went on the trip to the mountain with my worldly friends. And I put my hand into a pocket of my clothes where there was the handkerchief Rev. Dr. Lee had prayed on and grasped it. Then, I began to pray singing the hymnal song 502 (Korean Version) in my heart.
"God, I have been wrong. Help me." At that time, fortunately the bus crashed into the guardrail and stopped suddenly. The right front wheel was cut off from the bus body and played the role of its brake so that the bus didn't go over the precipice.
All 41 members, including me, were saved from death – falling over the precipice from the height of 150 meters, just short of 500 feet. The driver and other members praised and thanked me, saying, "Mr. Myoungsuk Jang did a good job. He was a good assistant. We were saved because he believed in God."
Through this accident I, though I am a beginner in faith, keep the word of God that says, "Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy" (Exodus 20:8) and have been living a faithful Christian life.
