One day in January 2024, I woke up in the morning and felt pain in my neck. I could feel a small lump. As time passed, the lump grew bigger and bigger to turn into a bump, and the affected area became swollen. It was easily visible, so I turned up my collar or covered it with a scarf. ...
Senior Deaconess Bockryeh Jeon (Age 60, Parish 11 in Manmin Central Church)
Since the COVID-19 pandemic occurred in 2020, I began working part-time with computer at home and my eyesight got worse. When I measured the eyesight at the optician’s, it was 0.2 on the left and 0.7 on the right. The optician said that the left eye with the poorer eyesight would deteriorate over time and the other eye would also deteriorate. So, I bought vision correction glasses. However, with glasses I could not see as clearly as I had expected, so I no longer wore the glasses because I was heard that I would have to wear them for the rest of my life. But in early 2023, my eyesight got even worse and I could not read the small letters. Bible Reading Contest 2023 was held from January to April, but I could not make progress because the letters were blurry and out of focus. I could narrowly finish it within the time limit by borrowing and reading a large-print Bible from an acquaintance. Through Internet search I found out that it was due to presbyopia. I attended a Vowed Daniel Prayer Meeting and prayed with a longing heart to receive healing at the May Divine Healing Meeting. I prayed earnestly to throw away the attribute of self-righteousness in which I insisted on my opinion and gave Father God peace offering. Whenever Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee’s Day-closing prayer was played in the ending part of Daniel Prayer Meeting, I put both hands on my eyes and received the prayer with faith. Day by day, my heart was at peace and was filled with the love of Father God. On May 26, 2023, I attended the Divine Healing Meeting during the Friday All-night Service via GCN and received Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee’s prayer for the sick. In her prayer she said, “Father! May our believers be blessed with rejuvenation ... ” and I heard it attentively. I eagerly wished the blessing of rejuvenation would come upon me and my eyes get better too, and I received the prayer more earnestly. The moment she finished praying for the sick, the idea flashed through my mind that the eyesight had improved. I tried to read the manual of a machine next to me and I could read even very small letters. After the service, I could clearly read the small letters in the Bible. Days later I went to the optician’s and the measure showed it improved to 0.7 on the left and 1.0 on the right. Hallelujah! I give all thanks and glory to the triune God who answers whatever His beloved children ask for in faith and gives them the best.
