I work as an English teacher at a private academy and spend most of my day writing on the board with my right hand. A few months ago, severe pain began in my right wrist and thumb, making it impossible to hold chalk properly. The pain worsened to the point that I had to place the chalk between my index and middle fingers just to write. ...
Around at 10:50 A.M. on February 18, 2013, I was waiting in my car for the traffic light to change to make U-turn at the intersection in the entrance of Shindaebang Underpass in Cheonan, Chungnam Province.
At the moment, a lorry (truck) whose driver seemed to doze off was suddenly running at a high speed and crashed to the car, a SantaFe, right in front of me. Then, it was about to run into my car, a Carens. It all happened in just a moment, so I just cried out, "Father God!" and put my head down.
The lorry rushed forward and hit my car, "Bang!" and pieces of broken glass flew into my car. I tried to get out of the car but the doors for the front seats didn't work. My co-worker and I got out through the doors of the back seats.
The window of the driver's seat was broken and the half of the door was torn out. The car body was broken so the front wheel collapsed. The back doors were like crushed paper. But to everyone's surprise, my co-worker and I didn't have anything wrong according to the result of the check-up in hospital.
Through this incident, I repented that I hadn't given thanks in my Christian life. I give thanks to God who protected me in a huge car accident and let me have a true Christian life. Hallelujah!
