On the Verge of Death due to the Rollover Accident
I am studying vocal music at Yonsei University. Since I had planned to go study abroad after graduation, I had to earn some money. I was oppressed by worries when I saw the financial reality. I ended up thinking that I would have to make it on my own.
I didn't consider the heart of my parents who couldn't support me financially because of the practical situation of my family. I just complained, but I really had no idea about my wrongdoings.
In the meantime, on July 21, I was driving at 100 km/h on Dongjak Bridge. At the moment when I turned the steering wheel toward the National Cemetery, my car hit the curb of the sidewalk. My car turned over and was a total loss. I had to scrap it after the accident. However, neither I nor Brother Hyungwan Moon who was sitting in the passenger seat suffered any injury at all. We could even work the next day and we had no after effects that troubled us since then.
On the verge of death a Bible verse popped into my mind. It was Proverbs 16:9 saying, "The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps."
I gave thanks for the love of the Lord who has blessed me so much to study vocal music as well as to protect us in the accident. I repented that I had made my parents feel worried. I give thanks to the Lord who caused all things to work together for good.
