A lifelong atheist, I had suffered for 7 years from a wide range of illnesses and awaited death. One day, my second oldest sister came up to Seoul from the countryside and asked me to guide her to a prayer center she had been longing to go. Thinking that she probably had no one else to ask to accompany except for her sick brother, I went with her. The moment I knelt down at the prayer center, God healed me of all my diseases. Afterwards, I learned that my sister had been praying for me for a long period of time. Empowered by her prayer, I could go before God, come to believe in Jesus Christ, and accept Him as my Savior. As the Psalmist writes, "Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting" (126:5), prayer of love for other souls always bears fruit.
