The toil of a farmer who works hard with sweat is evaluated through his fruit. If his crop is categorized as the best of the fruit, just how happy would that make him? In our Christian life, the time will come when we will have our faith eventually assessed. It will be the Day of the Final Judgment. While a farmer may have another chance to get good crop the following year, we will never take another chance after the Day of the Final Judgment. Therefore, we should try to live a life without regrets and reap the best fruit by checking what we sow all the time and sowing valuable things like goodness, love, faithfulness, and volunteering.
