I ran a bookstore before I was called a servant of God. One day I came back home after long-termed fasting, and found many books had been stolen. I prayed to God, saying, "God, I thank You for doing away with too old books." Afterwards the police arrested the thief who was a middle school student. My wife and I asked the police to forgive the student and comforted the student's parents, but the parents insisted on compensating for the stolen books. The parents were touched by our deeds and came to believe in God. If I had complained or implored, saying, "What is this in the world! I have just finished fasting!" we could not have experienced such an amazing work of God. Thus, when we believe in the will of God and give thanks and rejoice in any circumstances, He will give us blessing.
