Some have no assurance of salvation, thinking, 'Have I been saved?' Most of them have not cut themselves off from their worldly attachments. Suppose one has each of his legs in two trains departing in opposite directions. What would happen to him? He would never survive it. The situation is similar to not cutting yourself off from the temptations and pleasures of the world. Though you say you love the Lord, you can't be saved. If you are yet to be assured of salvation, check first if you have separated yourself from the world and lived according to the Word of God.
