Salt helps us flavor food and prevents food from decaying. Jesus, who is the Son of God, lived a life like salt. He sacrificed Himself completely—even to death on the cross in order to save mankind who are on the way to death due to sins. By doing so, He opened the way to true life and salvation. To live a life like salt—a life like Jesus lived—we must serve others and sacrifice ourselves with clean hearts and good deeds. Then, we can give out the fragrance of the Christ and lead countless people to the arms of God.
