If we receive God-given wisdom, we can resolve any difficulty easily. King Solomon gave a clear answer to two women who were fighting over maternal rights to a baby. He commanded his men to split the baby into two with a sword and give each woman half. The real mother was deeply moved in her heart and abandoned her plea for her child. By her reaction, King Solomon was able to confirm she was the real mother. This brilliant judgment was made possible by the wisdom from above. The first condition to receive wisdom from above is to have a pure heart (James 3:17). God gives His wisdom to those who have pure hearts void of evil.
