It is said that lepers cannot feel pain because their terminal nerve cells lose all sensation. It seems that this world is in much the same condition. People commit sins that could never have been imagined just a couple of decades ago. Nothing can stop the lascivious nature of popular culture. But, just as a healthy person is still sensitive to pain and will try to avoid it, those who live in the word of the Bible are sensitive to the tainting of the secular world and reject its sins.
