Substance More than Form

There are people who put value on outward appearances. But God looks at the substance in the inside more than the form on the outside. For instance, God doesn't look at the amount of money you give, but how much love you have in your heart when you give it. Though all may attend the same worship service at the same church at the same time, God receives the worship differently according to each individual's heart. He is pleased with the person who worships with delight out of love for God more than the person who just sits formally through the service. It is the same reason that the service children offer their parents out of the respect and love they have for them from their hearts is more lovely than that of children who serve their parents out of social formality.
