The fire of the Holy Spirit set ablaze over the whole South America
A great flood of change and blessing is covering Peru
1. The 2004 Peru Healing Crusade with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee 2. The Peruvian President Alejandro Toledo invited Rev. Dr. Lee for friendly talks 3. Peruvians guests were invited to a dinner party
After the 2004 Healing Crusade in Peru, many political and economic leaders including the President of Peru remember Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee who conducted the crusade. The crusade has influenced and reformed political, religious, social and cultural aspects of the country. From the late February of 2005, a great number of people have participated in a reforming campaign called "One, One, and One Movement" that requested they repent of more than one sin for one minute at one o'clock every day. Not only Christians but also nonbelievers have joined this campaign, and now it has been being presented to the National Assembly.
On May 6, about ten thousand Peruvians gathered at the National Stadium in Lima and had a great prayer meeting to get rid of violence and poverty and make peace and unification in the family and the people. Countless people who have been healed and blessed converted into Christianity, sent us thank-you letters and asked us to conduct more crusades.
That's why Rev. Lazarus Lee, who had been sent to Peru as mission director for the South America, has held handkerchief crusades in many cities of Peru. In particular he conducted the handkerchief crusades and gave a helping hand in remote areas like Puno and Huliaka. His sermon and ministry were broadcast on the Channel 19 which is considered a Catholic TV station, and Passi Picco Radio Channel. In addition, he has continually held pastors' conferences.
Along with many changes that has happened in Peru, the present and former vice presidents of Peru visited Manmin Joong-ang Church. The visitors thanked Rev. Dr. Lee, for the 2004 Healing Crusade and asked him to teach them spiritually and visit Peru again.
The Honorable David Waisman Rjavinsthi (Vice-President of Peru)
I felt the spiritual power and strength of Rev. Dr. Lee.
When I entered the sanctuary, I felt Manmin members' faith in God through their loving reception and perceived the touch of Rev. Dr. Lee among them.
The fact that Manmin Church was founded with 13 members in 1982 and now has more than 85,000 inland church members proves how much the church members have trusted and followed Rev. Dr. Lee.
They trusted his spiritual power and guidance and he led them to the best and clearest way. He has taught them how to wash their spirits just as we wash our bodies.
I honor all the ministries Rev. Dr. Lee has performed, and believe he will do even greater things.
The Honorable Maximo San Roman (Former Vice-President of Peru)
Cuzco, the birthplace of the Inca, is eager for spiritual dream and messages
I am thankful for Rev. Dr. Lee's visiting Peru in last December and asked him to visit Cuzco. The people of Cuzco are very poor the way many Koreans were several decades ago. If he visits Cuzco and teaches us the Christian Principle, it will be a great joy to us. As Korea has developed since before, so Peru will develop. I ask Rev. Dr. Lee to become a leader for world flow as well as for Christianity.
Mrs. Blanca Foster (Broadcaster)
I want to spread the holiness gospel to the whole Peru
I realized the significance of the holiness gospel after reading Rev. Dr. Lee's books "Tasting Eternal Life Before Death" and "The Message of the Cross." My husband, Thomas Foster, (Representative of The Free Spirit Publishing Company) was greatly blessed through the 2004 Healing Crusade, and he wants to publish and distribute Spanish editions of Rev. Dr. Lee's books.
I want to spread the holiness gospel to the whole Peru through broadcasting and book ministry. I give thanks to Rev. Dr. Lee and all the church members who welcomed me and have given me the memory that Korea is a very beautiful land.
