An era of satellite broadcasting mission work on a global scale - Simultaneous worship services via NSS-6; the works of God's power spread via Hot Bird 3, 6/ EXPRESS AM, and 2/ TELSTAR 5
Manmin Joong-ang Church has been making a vigorous effort in broadening the scope its ministry with cable, network, and satellite television programming. GCN's programs are currently carried on La Familia Cosmovision cable network in 38 states in the United States and around the clock on Channel 17 WEBR in the New York metropolitan area. GCN programs on Holy God TV in France are carried to Europe and the Middle East via the Hot Bird 3 satellite. Russia's TBN TV is covering Russia, Europe, and the Middle East with GCN's program lineup via Express AM 2 and Hot Bird 6 satellites. Rodnoy TV of the US is also transmitting the GCN programming via Telstar 5 throughout North America. Furthermore, an era of "satellite worship service" has dawned upon us and is in full swing. Instead of limiting the number of congregation only to the physically present, "satellite worship service" allows people anywhere in the world to simultaneously participate in the service, provided that appropriate equipment has been installed. With the continuing advancement in satellite communication, this trend has been immensely popular and successful at large churches in the US and some churches in Korea have begun making a similar progress. Manmin Joong-ang Church has been conducting "screen worship service" for its branch churches spread throughout Korea via the Moogoonghwa satellite since 1996. Additionally, via the Netherlands' NSS-6 satellite beginning in July 2005, Manmin's worship services have been broadcast real-time throughout its branch churches in Korea and Far Eastern nations including the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, China, and others. The program lineup includes Manmin's Sunday Morning and Evening Worship Services, Wednesday Evening Services, Friday All-night Worship Services, "Daniel Prayer Meeting" held every night at 9 P.M. KST (GMT +9), and the rest of the time slots are filled with other GCN programming.
