View of "Uganda Church Leaders' Conference" (International Conference Center in Kampala)
"2000 Uganda Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade with Rev. Jae-Rock Lee" was held from July 5 to 9 in Kampala, Uganda and ended successfully. It was held under the auspices of the Arrangement Committee including Uganda Church Association and became an object of Uganda Government and the press' attention.

Jehoash Myanza Nkangi the Minister of Justice, Samuel Rubunda, a Presidential Aide of Religion, the mayor of Kampala and members of the National Assembly welcomed Rev. Jae-Rock Lee, the speaker the mission team at Enttebe airport courteously. They also held a reception dinner for Rev. Lee and his mission team. Minister Nkangi said in a welcome address of reception dinner, "I welcome Rev. Jae-Rock Lee and his mission team who came to Uganda far from South Korea in order to preach words of God. I hope that the Christians mount up to a third of Ugandan be full of the Holy Spirit and unbelievers accept Jesus Christ as the savior through the preaching of Rev. Lee." More than 3,000 church leaders attended to the Church Leaders' Conference held at the International Conference Center in Kampala from July 5 and 6. Rev. Lee delivered the message under the subject, "the Secret of Church Growth". He took an example of Manmin Joong-ang Church and emphasized that pastors should be loved by God firstly. He also said that church leaders should be alert and pray, act being led by the Holy Spirit with the spiritual faith in everything, follow the Early Church, preach the message of the cross and keep the words of God. Especially, in the last conference, Rev. Lee introduced the powerful works of God which had appeared in Manmin Joong-ang Church showing vivid screens. The attendants were moved so much and offered glory to God with big hands. In addition, after he prayed on the altar, about 150 church leaders got healed of numerous illnesses and diseases in a moment. They testified the work of God and praises Him.

In the Crusade which was held at Nakivubo Stadium from July 7 to 9, 70,000 Uganda people including men of society such as the Minister of Justice and church leaders attended. Rev. Lee, the speaker delivered the message under the subject of "The Creator God", "Why Jesus is the Christ", and "Healing Jehovah who heals". Through the Rev. Lee's preaching totally based on the Bible, attendants could realize that God is alive, omniscient and omnipotent and He is the author of the Bible and the Creator of the heavens and the earth. And they also said that they could see the reason why Jesus Christ was our Savior. After his preaching finished, he prayed for the sick. Many threw their crutches away in a moment, got their feet from a wheelchair, jumped and walked. Also, a girl who had been deaf and dumb since her birth became hear and speak and the man who had not seen came to see.
Besides, Hallelujah Mission of Manmin Joong-ang Church's Art Performance Committee, praised God in this meeting with praises in Ugandan language and English and Korean traditional dance. They were applauded from attendants.
Meanwhile, the press such as 'the Monitor' and 'the New Vision' as well as Local TV and radio station such as Uganda National Broadcasting Station,"Uganda TV" covered and went news related with Rev. Lee from his arrival to the crusade's end on air. WBS TV and POWER FM broadcast the crusade to all over the country. It was assumed that about 15 millions or 20 millions people watched and heard it. In addition, Channel 4 of the United Kingdom and CNN, worldwide news broadcasting station covered related news and broadcast to all over the world. So it is evaluated as a chance to let the world know the spiritual leadership of Korean Church.
Bishop Grivas Musisi, director of Arrangement Committee who generalized the conference and the crusade said, "The living God was proclaimed to Uganda people through this conference and crusade. And it could be a start of Uganda churches to be united and of church leaders to repent before God and develop for African Mission. I would like to ask Rev. Lee from the bottom of my heart to come again next year and lead the crusade." "2000 Uganda Church Leaders' Conference and Crusade" is evaluated that it fulfilled the great duties for the union of Ugandan churches and for the nongovernmental diplomacy between Uganda and Korea.
