On April 10(Sun.), at 8:00 pm(2 pm in local time), the 8th anniversary celebration service of Moldova Manmin Church was held online with Pastor Hakyoung Yim. Russian-speaking believers as well as believers in Moldova attended the service. It started with a greeting from Missionary Alexander Tabaranu, the leader of Moldova Manmin Church. Pastor Hakyoung Yim preached the sermon entitled, “The Early Church”(Acts 2:42-47), and urged the members to become a church that is always filled with the Holy Spirit through fervent prayer, united in love, and strive to save souls to be praised by God. The praise, dance, and recitation of self-written poems prepared sincerely by the members of Moldova Manmin Church added to the joy of the celebration service. Moldova Manmin Church started with 9 members’ gathering in April, 2014, by its leader Alexsander Tabaranu’s delivering the holiness gospel to his friends and acquaintance. Afterwards, they rented the sanctuary, equipped it with necessary things as a church and participated in various worship services and prayer meetings of the Central Church through GCN. Currently, about 100 members are together having their Christian life in the grace and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. In October 2009, Missionary Aleksandr Tabaranu was spiritually shocked listening to Dr. Jaerock Lee’s sermon, “Hell” through TBN Russia, a Russian satellite broadcasting. And then, he came to long for the sanctification of heart while summarizing Dr. Jaerock Lee’s sermons, such as ‘the Message of the Cross’ and ‘The Measure of Faith’, through the Manmin Central Church website and Internet.
