There are some people who use their knowledge as a spiritual prop to support their belief in the living God, while some others do not believe in the existence of God due to the frameworks of their knowledge.
In 2004, World Christian Doctors Network was founded for the purpose of awakening many more erudite individuals who are ignorant of God, and they have annually conducted conferences where the divine healing cases are presented based on medical data. They also have charge of patient registration and testimony registration and recording in such meetings as overseas crusades, special divine healing meetings, and summer retreats where God's healing works unfold.
On July 18, 2018, WCDN started to work on the registration of patients who longed to receive healing in Manmin Summer Retreat 2018. As explosive works of power had occurred in every retreat, the number of sick people on the list this year was 1,217 including the members of branch churches.
During the first day of the retreat on August 6, attendees received the handkerchief prayer (Acts 19:11-12) and many of them came to the WCDN's booth to give their testimonies. The WCDN's surgeon, pediatrician, psychiatrist, radiologist, and dentist checked them, compared their current condition with that before the prayer and recorded their testimonies. Over three hundred testimonies were received at the venue, and more testimonies have been even after the retreat.
Dr. Gilbert Chae, President of WCDN said, "When I see diseases, that are known to be incurable and terminal, healed, and when I see the blind come to see and people in wheel chairs stand up and walk, I am amazed and excited. Though evolutionist thought seems to be prevalent today, WCDN has been proclaiming God the Creator and His great power by confirming amazing divine healing cases based on medical data and delivering the news through books, TV programs, and annual conferences."
