The 4th Annual Goodwill Soccer Tournament

On Saturday, May 24, 2008, the Athletic Committee of Manmin Central Church hosted "The 4th Goodwill Soccer Tournament with Government Offices and Venture Businesses" in the neighborhood on the Guro 3 Industrial Complex Artificial Turf. In its 4th year, the annual Tournament is aimed at improving relations, promoting goodwill, and evangelizing the Guro Digital Valley.
Participating teams this year were the Guro District Office, the Guro Police Department, the Geumchon Police Department, Lotte Home Shopping, Korea Festo, Inca Internet, Inkel, and Manmin's Athletic Committee, and the 8 teams were categorized into Groups A and B. The first-place winner was the Athletic Committee of Manmin Central Church, followed by the Geumchon Police Department.
A player of the Geumchon Police Department squad remarked afterwards, "We are grateful to Manmin Central Church for providing an opportunity for government office and venture business employees, as well as enabling Guro and Geumchon districts to come together through sports."
