At 11 A.M., on February 15, 2017, the 25th Alliance Holiness Theological Seminary and the 10th Manmin International Seminary Graduation Ceremony was held in the main sanctuary. Pastor Joongwon Lee, the Director of Academic Affairs presided, Elder Boaz J. Lee prayed, and the Heavenly Voice Chorus gave special praise. Pastor Sangtae Kim, Dean, preached the message taken from 2 Corinthians 9:10 under the title "From What Is Small". Academic Affairs were reported and Dr. Esther Chung, President of the seminaries, presented diplomas of graduation to the graduates. The Board Chairman Award went to Pastor Kwankyu Lee (Photo), and President Award to Pastor Jiyoung Lee.
As a result of their efforts to raise spiritually competent pastors, missionaries, and Levite workers (the church's full time workers), many of the graduates in the 25th ceremony had already started their ministry as overseas missionaries, pastors in branch churches, parish pastors, guidance pastors of the central church, or Levite workers.
In 2017, Dr. Esther Chung was inaugurated as the President of Alliance Holiness Theological Seminary in the providence of God. She is planning to train not only more pastors but also many workers in many fields. In the freshman and sophomore years, students are taught together for their growth in faith and improvement in competency, and from the junior year they choose between continuing as a pastor, a missionary, Levite worker, or a non-Levite worker. In the fourth year, they are appointed a position as either a pastor or a Levite worker according to their performance.
