In this season of harvest, many members of the church reaped good fruits in their own fields and glorified God.
Brother Seungho Yim, 9th grader, received Special Prize in National Students' Music Competition hosted by the International Culture Art Educational Committee on September 8. He came to have spiritual faith when he saw his friend healed of congenital paralytic strabismus (squint) after receiving Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. Then he started to pray and felt the help of the Holy Spirit. He came to have confidence when he played trombone and was able to receive the special great prize (Photo 1).
Brother Youngchan Mun is attending Chungang University and a member of the Young Adults' Mission. He got all A+ marks for his first semester. He was ranked first and received a full scholarship for his second semester. He attended church since his birth but when he was in the sixth grade he hit puberty and fell into the temptations of the world. He said, "I saw my shepherd hanging onto God with tears to lead students to the best heavenly dwelling place, New Jerusalem. I made up my mind to try my best wherever I am to pay back his grace." Afterwards, he applied Dr. Lee's sermon series 'Keys to Studying Well' in his life and studied hard. He was admitted to the university and received the full scholarship (Photo 2).
Elder Nakhoon Seong, Senior Partner of Manmin IP Law and Patent Attorney Firm received the Grand Prize in the patent part of the seventh Korea Professional Awards Ceremony hosted by Korea Special Press Association on September 2, 2016. He opened his office in 2003 and he developed an innovative technology called IOU website. It enables anybody only with a simple registration for free to IP-exchange by using mediation and analysis functions. Its excellence has been recognized and the firm received the prize. He unchangingly prayed in Daniel Prayer Meeting and endeavored to accomplish God's will and kingdom with a firm heart.
On September 29, Senior Deaconess Myungsuk Lee, Parish 12, entered the 15th Korean Poem Writing Competition held by Korea Poets Association after she received Dr. Lee's prayer recorded on Automated Response System. She won the first place and received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award (Photo 4).
Deacon Daesung Kim, a former national badminton player (now Suwon City Hall) won the gold medal in the 2016 President Flag National Professional Badminton Competition. He stated, "In my dream on September 12, Senior Pastor appeared and slapped high fives three times. I came to have greater confidence (Photo 5)."
On September 10, Brother Hongkuk Lee, Parish 28, received the citation of Minister of National Defense because he won the first place in the 10km marathon named 'Soldiers Marathon' held by National Defense Ilbo. On September 25, he won the first place again in the 14th Cheongwon Life Race Daecheong Lake Marathon, and on October 23 he won the second place in the 70th Chuncheon Marathon Competition which is the greatest marathon event nationwide (Photo 6).
Sister Jaeah Lee, seventh grader won the first place in 100m, 200m, and 400m relay races in the Athletic Meet held by Bucheon Office of Education (Photo 7) on September 28 to 29, and Sister Jihye Heo received Special Prize in the final round of the 10th Seoul Characterization High School Creative Idea Competition on September 8 (Photo 8).
Anyone can experience the great love of God who allows them to reap fruit when they have faith in God and fill up the justice in their field with thanks, joy, and integrity.
