“I couldn’t hear in the left ear for long but I can hear now!”
New Update
About 5 years ago, I left the church and became lukewarm. Meanwhile I developed acute arthritis on the left knee and had difficulty climbing a building without an elevator. Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. Then, I began wearing a hearing aid. ...

Children's Sunday School had its Summer Bible School 2016. Beginning with the Opening Service on July 24, it ran until July 27. The programs were broadcast live via GCN in and out of Korea and many children from Daejeon, Chuncheon, Cheonan, Gyeongju, Gumi, Pohang, Gwangju, Eastern Gwangju, Muan, Jinju Mun, and Jeonju Manmin Churches came and participated.

The Opening Service was held on the first day. Rev. Soojin Lee preached the message entitled "Children Glorifying God" based on John 15:8. She urged the children to have faith like the boy, David, who beat the giant Goliath, and to offer up worship services, praise, and prayer with heart, mind, and devotion. She also encouraged them to become light and salt in the world.

During the morning of the second day they had the "Sweet and Mysterious Word" program led by Pastor Dongcho Shin. He advised them to become sanctified by means of the Word of God and prayer (1 Timothy 4:5). To do so, he urged them to meditate on the Word all the time and to pray every day (Photos 1 and 3).

On the morning of the third day the 9th Annual Manmin Children's Performing Arts Contest was held. The Grand Prize went to the team 'Love for the Shepherd' who presented a play (Photo 9). The Golden Praise went to the 'Rainbow Team' who performed rhythm gymnastics with ribbons, the Silver Prize went to the team 'Jewelry' that showed worship dance, and the Bronze Prize to 'Heavenly Wind', a female duet team. Senior Deaconess Taeyoung Kim who guided the Grand Prize winners said, "They seemed to feel happy regardless of their roles in the play just because it was to glorify God. There were children who had been born healthy and normal, despite the dangers of miscarriage or being at high risk of having Down syndrome, through Senior Pastor's prayer. We were so thankful."

In the afternoon, Praise Leader Rose J. Han led the program "Power Jesus". Children were united in the Holy Spirit offering praise with Manmin Praise songs (Photo 2).

On the morning of the fourth day, Pastor Crystal S. Kim delivered the message with the title of "Into Spiritual Realm" based on (John 4:24). Her message added more hope for Heaven to them. Brother Jaewoo Lee from Eastern Gwangju Manmin Church stated, "Through Pastor Kim's message I realized that God shows us angels and various images through the aurora-like lights and clouds to let us know the existence of Heaven. I felt thankful for His love." When he was eight months old, his face was severely burned but through Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer, he was completely healed in just three weeks.

Children's Sunday School Principal Pastor Hyunjin Kim (Photo 6) said, "We could feel the love of God through rainbows in the sky, a variety of images in the clouds, cool breezes, and the sweet rain that cooled the heat. Through the participation of this Bible School, some children who previously didn't pray well experienced the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongue, and finally came to pray well with tears. Some others who had darkened appearances came to happily praise the Lord and were excitedly jumping with smiles. I was so happy to see them change."

This Bible School's main theme was "Glory". Children experienced the powerful works performed by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee and engraved them in their hearts. Aside from the aforementioned programs, they studied the Bible, visited the Muan Sweet Water Aquarium, took pictures of aurora-like lights, watched the spiritual world in the sky, and learned about Dr. Lee's overseas crusades (Photos 4, 7, and 10).

Additionally, each group of children had various events such as Bible Quiz, the New Jerusalem Challenge, Lectures on Revelation, and Spirit-filled Prayer Meeting on the afternoons of the second and fourth days (Photos 5 and 8).
