Celebrate the 29th Anniversary of Manmin News!

Manmin News published in 32 languages


Manmin News has spread the power of God the Creator, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the works of the Holy Spirit to the ends of the earth and led all people of all nations to the way of salvation. This year Manmin News celebrated its 29th anniversary.

On May 17, 1987, its first edition was published with the name of "Manmin Joong-ang News". It was issued on a monthly basis. In January 1991, an English edition was printed. As the number of readers and the church members increased, it started to come out every other week beginning with the church's ninth anniversary in October 1991. In October 2009, the church's 27th anniversary, the 400th edition was published and the paper was renamed 'Manmin News'. Since then, it has been published every week. Both paper and online versions are issued.

Celebrating the church's 30th anniversary, in November 2012, the online service started through www.manminnews.com. It has been translated and issued in 32 languages: Korean, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, French, Hebrew, Tamil, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, Mongolian, Thai, Tagalog, Visayan, Arabic, Estonian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Urdu, Dutch, Bulgarian, Finnish, Danish, Swedish, Burmese, Nepali, German, Italian, and Sinhala languages. So many people can now read Manmin News anywhere anytime.

The multilingual paper has been published in the above languages respectively on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly basis according to the local situation. The rich contents help the members grow up in faith. Accordingly, Manmin News is now read and loved by many people in overseas countries as well as in Korea.

Deaconess Hyangran Kim said, "I read Manmin News that was put on my bed in the hospital and went to Manmin Central Church. I listened to the sermon in the church and received the prayer for the sick. Afterwards, the severe pain in my arms was gone and my crooked middle finger was straightened. It was amazing!"

Deacon Byeongwoo Bae in Busan Manmin Church recounted, "After I received Manmin News on the street, I searched for the church's website and listened to Dr. Lee's sermons. I was greatly moved. When I saw the powerful works being performed that had occurred in the biblical times, I even could not believe my eyes."

Missionary Ping Ping Wong of Singapore Manmin Church stated, "Manmin News includes good and rich contents and great pictures. I can gain spiritual knowledge and find the keys to problem solving. As I read the testimonies, my faith grows up. And I can choose from numerous editions according to whom I want to evangelize because it has various kinds of contents."

Let's give all thanks and glory to God who has guided the way of Manmin News until this 29th anniversary.
