God who is the Word itself put on flesh, came to the earth, and became the Savior. His life was full of love and service itself. He gave all His heart to accomplish God's providence. His first priority was always to lead souls to life ahead of His personal comfort. His sacrifice and love will be spread to all people of all nations through endless mercy and love and the works of re-creation manifested in Manmin Central Church. "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased" (Luke 2:14).
At 9:50 P.M. on December 18, 2015, the Christmas Lighting Ceremony 2015 was held, and broadcast via GCN. Thousands of the church members filled the front yard of the church. When Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee pressed the button, the lights of Christmas trees and ornaments came on. Sisters Jinkyung Seok and Jungeun Kim of the Heavenly Voice Chorus offered up special praise and Senior Pastor Dr. Lee gave the congratulatory message.
The members gave thanks to the Lord who had come to the earth for us and they made up their minds to fulfill their duties as light and salt that can awaken all people of all nations with the word of life and God's powerful works.
At 7 P.M. on December 24, the Christmas Eve Service and Celebration Performance were held. Dr. Esther Chung, General Guidance Pastor of Young Adults' Mission delivered the message, and the Performing Arts Committee (Chairperson Pastor Heejin Lee) presented a splendid performance titled "Love".
The new seven songs of Manmin Praise were given by God for Christmas Performance 2015 such as My Lord, On the Day of White Snows, and Rejoice (Deuteronomy 31:19). It was a live performance of various genres of dance and musical performances that were well-mixed in the praise.
The prologue "Thanksgiving" opened the performance, which had the audience think of the meaning of Christmas. Then, the next one "Birth of the Lord & Love" was performed with a gorgeous dance performance and a 23-member string ensemble. Then, "The Unforgettable Day" and "We've Changed" performances followed in omnibus format.
Then, Power Worship Dance Team, Crystal Singers, Sound of Light Chorus, Glory Worship Dance Team, and Brass Band praised the birth of Jesus who came to the earth as the Savior and glorified God.
In the Finale, Power Chorus, Harmony Chorus, and all the other performers praised the song "Congratulations" with Hallelujah Band.
At 11 A.M. on December 25, Christmas Celebration Service 2015 was held. Senior Pastor Dr. Lee preached the message under the title of "Unforgettable Grace" based on Luke 2:10-14. People throughout the world joined together in the Christmas Eve event and the Christmas Celebration Service via GCN (www.gcntv.org).
The Christmas Eve event was delivered jointly by the Hallelujah Band, the professionally performing members of the Performing Arts Committee, 100 supporting staff members and 130 members of the Nissi Orchestra. It was performed on a special stage in the main sanctuary and gave the audience an unforgettable moment.
'Today' is a gift given to us through God's love and sacrifice. Christmas should be the day when believers fully offer up their fragrance of thanksgiving for His great grace and love.
