"Anyone Can Receive God's Blessing"_God's Blessings Given through Deeds of Obedience

A church should preach the Word of Life that pierces as far as both the division of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow. Manmin members have been provided with such Word through Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, and they have met God.
Brother Deokyoung Choi (Photo 1), age 54, found it difficult to keep the Lord's Day wholly since he is a lieutenant of Police Squad of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. He felt sorry before God because of it and he was determined to practice the word of life he had learned in earnest on the job. He started to take a lead in doing more difficult tasks and unpleasant work. Meantime, on December 31 in 2014, he was selected as one of the one hundred exemplary officials among all police officers in South Korea, and received the Prime Minister's Award.
Brother Choi said, "I think God wanted to encourage me with the award. Twelve years ago, I came down with malaria, which put me at risk of death, but I was healed of it by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. I have never forgotten his grace. I always feel reassured through his prayer even when I am sent to spots where there are disasters, accidents, and demonstrations." He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lee who prayed for him and his family members who have served him.
Brother Sanghun Oh (Photo 2), age 55, is working for the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation. He has recently received a great blessing by keeping the Lord's Day. In fact, he hadn't attended church for a long time and had neglected his believing life using his job as an excuse. But in April, 2012, when his son became sick, he started to look back on his Christian life. He repented from his heart and determinedly made a decision.
Thereafter, he read the Bible and Dr. Lee's books. In doing so, he was given a longing heart to keep the Lord's Day. He takes a business trip to provinces around twice a month for several days at a time. But now to keep the Lord's Day, he returns to Seoul on Sunday even if it is by South Korea's high-speed rail system, KTX. Meantime, on December 31 in 2014 he was blessed to receive the Minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning Award for his contribution to invigorating the smart media industry.
Deacon Wonkyu Song (Photo 3), age 46, has been growing Chinese chives in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province for 15 years. On December 31 in 2014, he received Gyeonggi Governor's Citation for his pioneering role in realizing eco-friendly organic farming of Chinese chives. The award is more meaningful to Deacon Song because of what had happened before the chives shipment sold in April in 2014.
"In order to sell, I had my chives checked through 250 tests. But odd components were detected in more than two tests. I was perplexed because I had never used even a drop of pesticides. Later I learned this was equipment facility and contamination, and unlike what they had promised, the equipment firm didn't take any prevention measures for it."
At this crucial moment, Deacon Song committed everything to the hand of God and prayed and waited patiently. It was during this time that the sudden on-the-spot testing done by the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service confirmed that the facility and equipment had problems. Thereafter he signed a contract with a bigger shop under better conditions and received a call from the previous customer, who had terminated a contract due to the problem that had occurred, asking to reinitiate supply again.
People will meet with some unexpected hardships in the course of life. However, if they don't resist with evil but just reflect themselves with the Word of God and look for a way of goodness, God will cause all things to work together for good. God also makes them feel His existence while they show acts of obedience, and He comforts their hearts, and encourages them.
1 Samuel 15:22 reads, "To obey is better than sacrifice…" God praises those who obey what they learn from the Word of God. God also protects them and provides safety in the world where many accidents and disasters overflow. God's children receive such great love from God, and this is the blessing given to His children.
