After the failure of investment in securities, a man was suffering due to depression, insomnia, stomach disorders, and emotional disorders. When he opened his eyes and had no strength even to move his finger, he had a sudden impulse to commit suicide. Fortunately, he was guided by his sister to Manmin Central Church.
"God, if You are alive, save me!"
After listening to his message and receiving the 'Prayer for the Sick' from Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of the church, he was healed completely. He suddenly felt that something like a dark shadow came out from his eyes. Afterwards, he became light-hearted and could sleep soundly for a long time. All his diseases including depression disappeared. This is the testimony of Deacon Saeseop Shim, aged 42. After the experience, he was changed into a child of God. He is now the reliable head of his family and faithful church worker. He has also been blessed in his workplace.
Depression is a state of low, sad, unhappy mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behavior, feelings and sense of well-being. Depressed people not only feel sad and lose interest or pleasure in activities that once were pleasurable but also they may not control their feeling and condition. It is accompanied with physical disorders as well as many mental problems such as hypothymia, busy brain, lack of promptness in behavior, anxiety, and suicidal tendancy.
In Manmin Central Church, there are many people who were set free from the depression which is known as the 'epidemic of modern society' as well as the many who have been healed of many diseases. They are now living happily with hope for Heaven.
Deaconess Soonhee Son, aged 44, was suffering from dissatisfaction of life and negative thoughts. She was diagnosed with depression. She repented that she hadn't lived according to the Word of God and received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. Then, she was healed of not only depression but also reflux esophagitis, pollakisuria, and a herniated lumbar disc.
Deacon Jaesong Tak, aged 58, was divorced because things went wrong with a surety agreement he had entered into. He became addicted to alcohol and entered into depression. Meantime, he felt pleased to watch Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons, praises, and people's testimonies broadcast via GCN (www.gcntv.org). While praising with jumping, he was healed of depression.
Deaconess Bokrae Shin, aged 76, had depression after losing her husband who was inflicted with aftereffects of colorectal surgery, strokes, aftereffects of brain surgery, valvular disease of the heart, and arthritis. Her acquaintance advised her to read Dr. Jaerock Lee's book Tasting Eternal Life before Death and she did and received a lot of grace. Then, she started her Christian life and by Dr. Lee's prayer for the sick she was healed of many diseases and depression.
Sister Kelieskovar Aljamora, aged 25, in Peru spent her childhood subjected to the abuse of her father and half-siblings. After growing up, she couldn't gain peace and suffered from depression. In the meantime, she was guided to Peru Manmin Church and listened to Dr. Lee's sermons. While listening to them, she realized how much God hates hatred and anger.
When she repented of her past wrongdoings, hatred and anger with tears, the depression disappeared and overflowing joy came upon her.
Deaconess Kyungsook Kim, aged 47, was troubled over the poor relationship she had with her mother-in-law and sickness after childbirth. She was set free from depression through Dr. Lee's prayer. Additionally, there were a great number of people who were also freed from depression through Dr. Lee's life-filled words and the powerful prayer.
One of the symptoms of depression is to give up on everything due to negative thoughts or feelings. It causes one not to discern his own situation. But if one lives a true Christian life, they can have a positive way of thinking. Moreover, they don't have worries and anxiety because they can see God work according to their faith. Also, since they live joyfully with hope for Heaven, depression naturally vanishes.
