“I couldn’t hear in the left ear for long but I can hear now!”
New Update
About 5 years ago, I left the church and became lukewarm. Meanwhile I developed acute arthritis on the left knee and had difficulty climbing a building without an elevator. Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. Then, I began wearing a hearing aid. ...

The love fills my heart.
The tears of martyrs were offered up.
The love of the Lord, the tears of the Lord
Have borne the fruit of martyrs.

This earnest melodic proclamation came from the lips of Apostle Paul, who was bound in ropes and on his way to the place where he was to be beheaded. Andrew was crucified on an X-shaped cross. Peter was crucified on a cross upside down. In a remote place in Ethiopia, Matthew was beheaded with an axe. Philip received beatings for the Lord and died bound to a pillar. Thomas as well was martyred by the sword. Their martyrdoms opened the performance.

Prior to Easter Sunday during the 2nd half of the Friday All-night Service on April 18, 2014, the 2014 Easter Performance 'Tears' was presented. This performance imprinted the great love of God, the Lord, and the Holy Spirit on the audience's hearts. It was a 4-part performance consisting of four acts under the lead of Performing Arts Committee (Chairperson: Pastor Heejin Lee).

In the first Act, 'Martyrdom' pictured the martyrdom of the apostles who came forth as the fruit of the Lord's tears; Act II, 'The Lord's Love', portrayed the ministry and suffering of Jesus and the Lord's love with which He was crucified for us; Act III, 'Resurrection and Ascension', was the witness of the resurrected Lord for the first time by Mary Magdalene and the Lord's ascension into heaven; and in Act IV 'The Way of the Lord', dealt with the joyful taking of the way of the Lord by His apostles.

Adding to grace all the more was the fact that every song of the performance was given by God Himself. Nissi Orchestra's renditions and songs and dialogue being delivered live by the performers increased the grace and emotion of the experience.

After the performance, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee said, "I urge you to think over the performance and Mary Magdalene's true and earnest love towards the Lord and her truthful heart that is more than sufficient to give her life for the Lord. I hope you will also give perfect love to God and offer up the true confession of love to God and the Lord."

The church members inside and outside of Korea were able to watch together via live broadcast by GCN (www.gcntv.org). They said they felt the Lord's ardent love from their hearts and made up their minds to live like the apostles who took the way of martyrs. They are expected to preach the holiness gospel and God's powerful works to all people of all nations with the shepherd at this end time.
