The Lord Overcame Death and Rose Again!_2014 Easter Sunday and Holy Communion
Christianity is characterized by the 'faith of the resurrection' because resurrection is an essential key element of Christian faith. To resurrect means not just to rise from death but also to live forever without seeing death as perfect living being.
Manmin Central Church has achieved the standardization of spirit in 2014 through the sacrifice and tears of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who followed the footsteps of the Lord. By accomplishing this, the members are being filled with greater thanks to God than any other time. They are renewing their determination day by day to quickly become people of spirit and whole spirit who please God as the Lord's disciples did. They are also sacrificing themselves to proclaim the holiness gospel and God's powerful works all around the world. On April 20, 2014 the church had Easter Sunday Service and Holy Communion with all members of around 10,000 branch and associative churches throughout the world through live broadcasting by GCN (www.gcntv.org). During Easter Sunday Morning Service Dr. Jaerock Lee preached a message entitled "Resurrection" based on Matthew 28:5-10. In Evening Service, he delivered the message "Great Will" (John 6:53-55) and led the Holy Communion. The church members took bread and drank juice of the grape that symbolize the flesh and the blood of the Son of Man and gave thanks for the Lord's service and sacrifice. During the Friday All-night Service on April 18, Dr. Lee preached the message "Tears" based on Matthew 22:37-40 and then the Easter Performance 2014 "Tears" followed in the second half of the Friday service. Under the lead of Performing Arts Committee, approximately 270 people dedicated themselves to the performance.From April 17th to 20th the Women's Mission add to proclamation of the joy of resurrection by the sharing of eggs decorated for Easter with public offices such as Guro Police Station, Guro Fire Station, and South Detention Center, and local companies, shops, and the Senior Citizen's Centers around the church.
