“I couldn’t hear in the left ear for long but I can hear now!”
New Update
About 5 years ago, I left the church and became lukewarm. Meanwhile I developed acute arthritis on the left knee and had difficulty climbing a building without an elevator. Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. Then, I began wearing a hearing aid. ...

On Christmas Day we celebrate God's only begotten Son Jesus having come in human body to the earth to save all mankind. Manmin members who have been changed in the love of the shepherd celebrated an even more meaningful Christmas Day than ever. They were busy beautifying their hearts in prayer and fasting to give the beautiful hearts of spirit and whole spirit to the Lord as Christmas presents.

Above all, just as Jesus said, they came to love God foremost of all with all their hearts, will, and mind and serve each other to love one another as their own bodies. Regardless of age and sex, they longed for the Christmas Day. Their hearts were felt in the Christmas ornament they had decorated with their love and hearts to give the most precious present to the Lord who opened the way of salvation for all men by giving His life.

Before Friday All-night Service, at 9:50 P.M. on December 20, the Christmas Lighting Ceremony was held with thousands of members in attendance in front of the main sanctuary. The church was decorated primarily with snow crystal ornaments under the main theme 'Warm Love'. It is the love of the Father God, the Lord, and the Spirit who want to bless all people just like snow covering all the earth.

On both sides of the altar in the main sanctuary are two 3-meter Christmas trees decorated with ornaments of large snowflakes. In front of the altar the LED lights that are in five colors representing the five-fold gospel of holiness that awakens the people of all nations with the love of God are now dimming. On the left wall from the altar are frames with pictures of heavenly flower beds. The choir seats were adorned with music notes and snow crystal ornaments and beautiful patterns. On the second floor in the main sanctuary, the three Magi following the star's guidance and worshipping Jesus was expressed with a big star decoration, LED lights, and acrylic snow crystals.

On the roof of the main sanctuary is a running train filled with presents that God gave us on the happy Christmas Day. The large-sized Christmas tree in the church yard is dressed with tear-shaped ornament that expresses the tears the shepherd shed to lead the members to change and gain life. The inside of the main sanctuary was decorated by Design Fellowship Committee; the 2nd and 5th sanctuaries, by Canaan Mission; the 3rd sanctuary and the lobby of the main sanctuary was done by Young Adults' Mission; the 4th sanctuary, by Children's Sunday School; and the exterior decorating was done by Sharon Fellowship Committee and Facility Maintenance Bureau.

At 7 P.M. on Christmas Eve, the Christmas Eve Service was offered. Pastor Dongcho Shin preached the message under the title of "His Name is Jesus" taken from Matthew 1:21. The service was followed by the Christmas Celebration Performance reminding the members of the love of God, the Lord, and the Holy Spirit. For approximately an hour, with MC Sister Pureum Shin presiding, the Performing Arts Committee members delivered the celebration performance entitled "Love of the Lord".

Pastor Heejin Lee, Chairperson of Performing Arts Committee directed the performance. The committee's top-class teams—Heavenly Voice Chorus, Heavenly Dance Team, and Power Worship Dance Team—prepared the performance. Also, Nissi Orchestra accompanied. A staff of outsourced specialists with cutting-edge technology helped with special effects. Approximately 250 people in total devoted themselves to the performance.

In Act 1, the video presentation showing the Israelites during the Exodus helped us look back upon our past lives. Then, the Lord's life was described with themes 'Birth', 'Ministry', 'Passion', and 'Resurrection & Ascension'. In Act 2, the members watched another video presentation about the past three years as they rode on the rapid spiritual flow. Afterwards, they offered up the praises 'JESUS', 'Glory 5', and 'Celebration' with grateful hearts brimming with thanksgiving.

On December 25, at 11 A.M. (Korean time) the Christmas Celebration Service was offered up with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. He preached the message under the title of "The Love of the Father" based on 1 John 4:16. The Christmas Eve Service, Celebration Performance, and the Christmas Celebration Service were available through live-streaming internet broadcast courtesy of GCN (www.gcntv.org) so that all the members and world-wide viewing audience could join in celebrating.
