At 3 P.M., on February 10, 2013, Pastors' Devotional Service was held with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee as the speaker in the main sanctuary of Manmin Central Church.
A total of 341 devotees, comprising of 154 pastors of Manmin Central Church, 68 pastors from branch churches in Korea, and 119 overseas missionaries, offered up their hearts of devotion during the service and it was broadcast live in more than 170 countries through GCN TV and the internet.
Pastor Soojin Lee, President of Pastors' Association presided the service. Pastor Taesik Gil, President of Central Regional Assembly gave the representative prayer. The Shalom Choir offered choral praise and the Nissi Orchestra offered up instrumental praise.
All devotees gave a special praise with the song entitled 'Precious Gifts', expressing their gratitude to God who blessed them to perform the glorious duty as pastors in the church that was established in God's great providence for countless souls' salvation at this end time.
Dr. Jaerock Lee preached under the title of "Do You Believe Me?" based on 1 John 3:18. His message was structured around the following: If the Lord asks us, "Do you believe Me?" what would be the response? Those of us who have the evidence in deeds and truth would be able to confidently answer that they believe and love the Lord. Likewise, faith must be accompanied by deeds and truth. Peter said he loved Jesus more than anybody else. Nevertheless, when Jesus was captured, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times due to his fear. Afterwards, he lived with a repenting heart for the rest of his life, and he was faithful until he was crucified upside down. So, he was forgiven of the fatal iniquity. We also must bear the certain fruit of repentance and show the evidence of true faith, not just with words of the tongue, but in deeds and truth.
With regards to this Dr. Lee explained about the evidences of true faith that God wants pastors to show. The first evidence is 'submission and obedience' to the Word of God, that is, how well we uphold the meaning of God's commands and obey them. The second one is sacrifice; how much we have sacrificed and dedicated ourselves for the kingdom of God and the souls. The third and last one is love; how much we have served souls with consideration and spiritual love and revived and encouraged the spirit of the people.
The devotees firmly resolved that they shall diligently spread the love of God to the approximately seven billion people all over the world by delivering the holiness gospel and the powerful works and show true faith which is followed by the evidences of faith being obedience, sacrifice, and love for the kingdom of God and souls.
This service served as a spiritual turning point for the devotees, and they renewed their determination to become pastors who are proper in the sight of God at this point when the church is making earnest preparations for the era of the Canaan Sanctuary.
The United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, Japan offered flowers and decorations on the altar with hope of being a foundation stone in achieving the global parish with the holiness gospel.
On February 17, 2013, pastors, elders, senior deaconesses, deacons, deaconesses, junior deaconesses, and the Levite workers (full-time workers of the church), Esther Fellowship (Pastors' wives' group), and Prayer devotees offered up 2013 Workers' Devotional Service with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee as the speaker.
