“I couldn’t hear in the left ear for long but I can hear now!”
New Update
About 5 years ago, I left the church and became lukewarm. Meanwhile I developed acute arthritis on the left knee and had difficulty climbing a building without an elevator. Still less, the hearing on the left ear worsened due to the aftereffects of brain tumor surgery and I was diagnosed with hearing impairment at the end of 2023. Then, I began wearing a hearing aid. ...

On July 22 in 2012, Manmin Central Church had its 30th Anniversary of the Church Opening Service and Celebration Performance. On that day Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee preached the message under the title of "The Treasure of Treasures Is Faith" taken from Hebrews 11:1 (Photo 1).

In his message, Dr. Lee said, "Today's service is especially meaningful. We have achieved such great growth compared to the beginning. The number of church members and measure of their faith are different. The speed at which they are changing is different from then. Above all else, God's powerful works manifested in this church cannot be compared with the past. God has let us go through many years of trials in the past 30 years to let us lay all these foundations. Now, as the time has come, God is letting us proclaim another beginning to stretch our hands to the whole world in full scale."

He added, "The title of the first message that was preached in the opening service in 1982 was 'The Treasure of Treasures is Faith'. Since then, the 30 years of history of Manmin was solely a path taken by faith. But because we had faith, we could be more confident than anyone, even though we had only about 7 dollars at the time. The glory of God has been revealed greatly thus far, but the works of God that will be manifested from this point on will be so much more glorious."

After the service, the 30th Anniversary of the Church Opening Celebration Performance followed. In the first performance, Power Worship Dance Team, Glory Worship Dance Team, and Love Dance Team performed with the title of "The Walk of Faith" that reminded attendees of the history of Manmin that can be marked though a history of faith (Photo 2, 5, 7).

The next performance was entitled "God's Banquet". In the performance, Heavenly Dance Team performed Ogomu, that is one of Korean traditional dances and Serem Korean Traditional Music Team and Nissi Orchestra's percussion players played several kinds of drums. Their performance made the members' joy rise to a climax (Photo 3).

Then, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee and Heavenly Voice Chorus praised "The Castle of the Shepherd" to the playing of Hallelujah Instrument Team (Photo 4),

which deeply moved the audience's hearts. Next, Praise Leader Rose Han, Vice Chairperson of Performing Arts Committee led the praise. Brass Ensemble and Performing Arts Instrument Team played their instruments and all church members gave thanks to God the Trinity, singing "Jesus" together.

As a finale, Shalom Choir, Nissi Orchestra, and all performers appeared and sang "Glory 3". They gave all thanks and glory to God who had been with the church until the 30th Anniversary of the Church Opening.

On the 30th Anniversary of the Church Opening, the church members in the service were overwhelmed with joy and thanks. They kept giving thanks to God for changing their hearts beautifully through the Word of life, increasing their faith every day, letting them give glory to God as a member of the church that saves countless souls, and allowing them to lead Christian lives filled with testimonies in the power of God. They also imprinted, deep in their hearts, their hope for changing the world with the five-fold gospel of holiness and reach New Jerusalem as men of whole spirit.
