Headmasters and Teachers of Sunday School at the 2012 Conference for Teachers. They made up their minds to become teachers who can guide their students in a way that is balanced between spirit and body.

Children's and Students' Sunday School's teachers are busy preparing for Summer Bible School and Summer Retreat held in late July. They are striving to become spiritual teachers as well as preparing for their students' spiritual growth by arming themselves with the Word and prayer.

From June 18th to the 20th, the 2012 Conference for Teachers of Children's and Students' Sunday School was held in the fourth sanctuary of Manmin Central Church under the theme of "Spirit" taken from John 4:24. They became better qualified as Sunday School teachers, reminded themselves of their sense of duty, and asked God for His strength and wisdom.

On the first day, the conference kicked off with the opening service where Pastor Hyungryul Park of the Education Division of United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ presided and Pastor Gamaliel Lee, Manager, preached the message. Then the lectures followed: 'Bible Teaching Methods' by Sr. Deaconess Geumsun Vin and 'Spiritual Counseling' by Pastor Miyoung Lee. The lectures of the second day were as follows: 'Teachers' Role' by Pastor Dongcho Shin; 'Understanding of Children and Juvenile Psychology and How to Deal with Children in Puberty' by Pastor Mikyung Lee; and 'Teaching Methods' by Pastor Esther Chung. On the last day, Pastor Crystal Kim gave a lecture entitled 'Attitude'. Teachers then had a prayer meeting with Pastor Heesun Lee under the theme of 'Resolution Time.'

Sr. Deaconess Chulsoon Park, president of Teachers' Association of Students' Sunday School stated, "I had had many questions about how to lead our students, but they were all answered in this conference. This was a great help for me to establish the Word of God in my heart in a new and different way. While listening to the lectures I was able to grow more spiritually. I also came to have a view with which I can guide students in balance both in spirit and body. I think it was a necessary time provided for us to fulfill our duties well."

Through this 2012 Conference for Teachers we hope our teachers will quickly achieve the heart of spirit that God wants and become skillful spiritual leaders who lead many children and students to the most beautiful place in Heaven, New Jerusalem.
