'Manmin Central Church Supported 'Feast for the Aged and the Disabled in Dongjak Area'
The Feast for the Aged and the Disabled was organized by International Disability Cultural Exchange Association and held in Dongjak Community Center. Dr. Jaerock Lee sent the congratulatory message saying "I have the hope that the aroma of love among neighbors will spread in the area." The church supported the event with ushers, attendants, and church buses.
Feast of Harvest Sunday Service and Holy Communion
On July 3, Manmin Central Church held the Feast of Harvest Sunday Service. Together with Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Sunday, and Christmas it is one of the great feasts for Christians. Holy Communion was also celebrated in the main and other sanctuaries.
During Sunday Morning Service, Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message entitled 'God Protects Us' based on Deuteronomy 32:10. During the Sunday Evening Service a message taken from John 6:55 entitled 'Thanksgiving' was given.
Members of Manmin Central Church gave special thanks to God for always keeping our hearts and souls from the dark world and protecting us from all kinds of diseases and accidents during the first six months of 2011. Afterwards, they had time to engrave the love of the Lord eating bread, the flesh of the Lord, and drinking grape juice, the blood of the Lord, during the Holy Communion Ceremony
The United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ 2011 Pastoral Ordination Ceremony
2011 Pastoral Ordination Ceremony of The United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ was held in the Main Sanctuary of Manmin Central Church on June 28. The chairperson, Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message under the title of 'Trust' based on John 15:1-8. He said, "You have to completely trust in God, the Lord, and the shepherd to come out as fruit which God can recognize. As a tree can bear great fruit when branches are firmly attached to the tree, you also can come into spirit and lead souls to life and truth when you are united as one with God, the Lord, and the shepherd."
Eight persons were ordained as pastors in this ceremony: Jisun Kim and Youngjin Roh, Manmin Central Church; Sangjo Lee, Masan Manmin Church; Byounran Choi, Tokyo Manmin Church in Japan; Changmi Lee, Osaka Manmin Church in Japan; Soohaeng Lee, Sendai Manmin Church in Japan; Itoh Dokiko, Matsmoto Manmin Church in Japan.
