The award ceremony for the "International Culture Art Competition for Children" took place on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at "The Center for the 100th Anniversary of Christianity in Korea." Of over 20,000 entries from approximately 150 early education centers, 103 children of Manmin Kindergarten (Senior Deaconess Keum-sun Vin), affiliated with Manmin Joong-ang Church, received various awards including the "Best Team Award" (Sung-hwa Jo, 6), "Grand Prize" (Joon-suh Jang, 7), "First Prize," "Gold Medal," "Silver Medal," "Bronze Medal," and "The Award for Excellence in Art Education."
