Two Pastors' Seminars Bore the Fruits of 25 Branch Churches and 56 Associative Churches

On September 24, Rev. Taesik Gil conducted a pastors' seminar at the Ramada Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was attended by 280 pastors from 70 denominations and missionary organizations.

Many pastors in the Sri Lanka, a country of the southern coast of the Indian subcontinent, were deeply touched and blessed with the gospel of holiness and various signs and miracles that followed the teaching of the gospel. Many are now longing to participate in the ministry of Manmin Central Church.
On November 10, three Sri Lankan pastors visited Manmin Central Church. They are Rev. Sandun Sri Kumara Wijesekara, Chairman of the Spiritual Community and Pastors' Coordinator of Jeevana Diya Church; Rev. Mahendran Janarthan Pillai, National Board Director and Coordinator of Pastors Fellowship of Gospel Tabernacle Church; and Rev. Nishan Cooray, National Board Director of Jeevana Diya Church and Coordinator of Manmin Ministries Sri Lanka.
This past April and September, they organized the "Sri Lankan Pastors' Seminars and Healing Crusades" with Rev. Taesik Gil at the Ramada Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Pastor Joseph Han, who is conducting ministry in India, accompanied Rev. Taesik Gil as the Korean -English translator.
When they organized the healing crusade and pastors' seminar in April, one hundred Sri Lankan pastors attended and Speaker Rev. Taesik Gil delivered the messages titled "Why Did God Place the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?" and "Why Is Jesus our only Savior?" After this crusade and seminar ended, 4 churches made the decision to join in the ministry of Manmin as branch churches and 13 churches registered as associative churches.
The seminar and crusade drew great attention from the attendees, and at their request, Rev. Taesik Gil conducted another pastors' seminar on September 24, 2010. The second seminar brought 280 pastors from 70 denominations and missionary organizations, and Speaker Rev. Taesik Gil delivered the messages titled "The Message of the Cross" and "Secrets to the Church Growth." Through this second seminar, 21 churches resolved to join in the ministry of Manmin as branch churches and 43 churches as associative church.
On the two days that followed days, on September 25th and 26th, Rev. Gil conducted healing crusades at the Kirilapone Methodist Church in Colombo and the Christ Anglican Church in Ingiriya. He delivered the messages titled "God the Healer" and "Jesus Christ" respectively and prayed for the sick with the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed. Brother Dimute, who had to receive surgical treatment due to lung cancer, was healed and many others were healed of various diseases including heart diseases, nervous-system disorders, and dermatitis. Evil spirits were driven away by the fiery works of the Holy Spirit through the handkerchief of God's power. When these extraordinary miracles were performed, God was glorified greatly.
The Sri Lankan pastors in attendance were moved by the manifestations of God's power and spiritual messages. They requested Manmin Central Church continually hold pastors' seminars and healing crusades. Among those pastors, three Sri Lankan pastors flew to South Korea and visited Manmin Central Church. During their stay they had a meeting with the senior pastor, Dr. Jaerock Lee. They also visited the Muan sweet water site and learned many things about the ministry of Manmin Central Church. Their visitation to Manmin is expected to bring the rapid spreading of the holiness gospel in Sri Lanka.
The 2010 survey of the UN says the population of Sri Lanka is 20.4 million, and Wikipedia says Buddhism is about 70% of the population, Hinduism 15%, Christianity 7.5%, and Islam 7.5%. Its official languages are Sinhala, Tamil, and English. Since last September, the Sinhala edition of Manmin News has been printed and distributed in Sri Lanka. Dr. Jaerock Lee's autobiography My Life My Faith: Volume I is being translated and the English edition of The Message of the Cross is read by many Sri Lankan Christians.
