Sinhala edition of Manmin News Issue No. 1 was printed (as the 18th language in the translation of Manmin News). Through this Sinhala edition of Manmin News, it is expected that the gospel of holiness and manifestation of God's power will spread to the whole area of Sri Lanka. In last April and September, Pastor Taesik Gil ministering to Daejeon Manmin Church conducted pastors' seminars and handkerchief healing meetings in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is also called 'The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka' and located in southern coast of the Indian subcontinent. The 2008 Gallup Poll says that 70% of Sri Lankans are Theravada Buddhists, 15% are Hindus, 7.5% are Muslims and 7.5% Christians.
