A World-renowned Saxophonist, Mr. Noel Lopez Visits and Plays the Saxophone

On August 29, a world-renowned saxophonist, Mr. Noel Lopez, visited Manmin Central Church and played the saxophone at the Sunday evening service. He played two songs "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" and moved the hearts of the audience. And at the audience's request, he played another song "The Power of the Love." Mr. Noel Lopez played at the president inauguration ceremony of former Philippine presidents including the 10th Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos, the 11th Maria Corazon Sumulong Cojuangco-Aquino, the 12th Fidel Valdez Ramos, the 13th Joseph Estrada, and the 14th president Maria Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. He has also been invited to national events.

Hundreds of Young People in Nagaland Intercede for Manmin Central Church

Approximately 500 young prayer warriors in 10 areas of the Nagaland State of India come together every Sunday and intercede for the ministry of Manmin Central Church at the 'Shalom Manmin Prayer Meeting.' Pastor Lima Imsong, associative missionary commissioned by Manmin Central Church, organized this intercessory prayer meeting, and many young prayer warriors have come to watch GCN programming and experience spiritual changes and God's power through Dr. Jaerock Lee's messages broadcast on GCN TV.

Foreign Language Classes Opened Under the Auspices of MMTC

MMTC (Manmin Missionary Training Center) has recently opened foreign language classes to help missionary candidates equip themselves with language ability. Spanish Class opened on August 24 and is held at the Newcomers' Room at 6:30 PM every Tuesday, and students of the class gather and practice from 4:30 PM until 6:20 PM every Saturday. Russian Class began on Thursday, August 26 and continues for 4 months, from 7:30 PM until 8:30 PM, Thursday and from 6:30 PM until 8:45 PM Saturday. Lastly, an English Class is held at the Office of MMTC at 8:00 PM every Thursday.

Vision Club

MMTC has recently organized a department 'Vision Club' in order to help missionary candidates and young believers who are interested in foreign languages become more qualified or have much more knowledge of mission fields through the study of missionary regions and language practice. Anyone who has interest in this program can share various kinds of information about language acquirement and understanding of mission fields through this community 'Vision Club.' Vision Club invites you to this special program for the improvement of missionary sprits and development of language abilities.
