Consisting of Five Choirs, Nissi Orchestra and 23 Praise Teams
Members of the Performing Arts Committee glorify God at many Christian events and crusades
On June 27, the Performing Arts Committee of which the president is Pastor Heejin Lee offered their devotional service during the Sunday evening service, and the Speaker Dr. Jaerock Lee delivered the message titled with "Spirit" based on the Scripture John 4:24.
The Performing Arts Committee is categorized into three groups: First is five choirs—White Stone Choir (Children), Nazareth Choir (Students), Immanuel Choir (Young People), Shalom Choir (Men's and Women's Mission), and Golden Crown Choir (Women's Mission); Second is Nissi Orchestra, the first and only praise-specialized orchestra in Korea; Third is 23 praise and dance teams including Hallelujah Praise Team, Power Worship Team, Crystal Singers, Sound of Light Chorus, Artistic Dance Team, Love Dance Team, Nissi Piano Sextet, Nissi Brass Ensemble and 14 soloists.
As Isaiah 43:21 says, "The people whom I formed for Myself will declare My praise," God takes delight in the praises we offer to Him. As recorded in this Scripture, since its founding, Manmin Central Church has placed great emphasis on cultivating as many praise and dance teams of the Performing Arts Committee as possible, and many teams have been invited to many Korea's Christian events and crusades, and glorified God with beautiful performances including praises and dances.
Since the year of 2000, praise and dance teams have participated in decades of Dr. Jaerock Lee's overseas crusades and spearheaded at the spiritual wars and opened the victorious doors to those crusades with praises just the way Jehoshaphat the king of Judah appointed those who sang to God and those who praised Him in holy attire and they went out before the army, and praised and gave thanks to God (2 Chronicles 20).
The performance teams accompanied Dr. Jaerock Lee at his 12 crusades held in Uganda, Japan, Pakistan, Kenya, the Philippines, Honduras, India, Russia, Germany, Peru, DR Congo, and the New York City of USA, and 2009 Israel United Crusade, and sang praises in many foreign languages as well as their local language, including English, French, Spanish, Japanese, German, Russian, Urdu, Arabic, Hebrew, Lingala, Tamil, Hindi and Swahili. Their praises and performances touched the hearts of the audience with their exact pronunciation and strengthened Dr. Jaerock Lee to fulfill the world evangelization.
In addition, such performance teams from the Performing Arts Committee have showed the world-top class Christian performances and lifted up the name of God at many worship services, Christian events and handkerchief healing crusades. Their performances at the church anniversary, Easter and Christmas celebration performances, and New Year's Day performance are also very beautiful.
From the April of 2009, God gave pure and inspirational songs through His revelations, and Praise Album 'Manmin' 1 to 3 that cover those songs have been released, and the Manmin Music Book of 80 songs was printed. Many brothers and sisters in Christ are so happy with the music book and praise albums.
Many members of the Performing Arts Committee are so proud of participation in the fulfillment of Dr. Jaerock Lee's world mission that they are training and cultivating themselves in dance, vocal, and performance, and trying their best to raise their levels of faith by worshiping God in truth and spirit during the worship service and offering fervent prayers.
Their songs and performances full of inspiration and excellence give powerful impression to many people. They wish they will finish adorning themselves as the brides of the Lord as soon as possible and be able to give glory to God with the best praise and performance each moment and participate in singing praises and giving glory to God before the throne of God in the holy city of New Jerusalem, and are pressing on toward the goal.
