As Manmin has actively offered assistance towards the development of Dongjak-gu (district) and demonstrated its love for neighbors by participating in the "Hope for 2010: Coming Together in Getting Through the Winter" project and contributing to the spirit of giving, the church received a plaque of appreciation from the Dongjak District Office (Wujung Kim, Mayor). The presentation of the plaque took place at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, March 26, 2010. Initiated by Dongjak Welfare Foundation and sponsored by Dongjak District Office, "Hope for 2010: Coming Together in Getting Through the Winter" is a campaign that was designed to offer assistance to low-income families between December 1, 2009 and February 28, 2010.
