The 16th Anniversary Service of Ida Manmin Church

Ida Manmin Church (Pastor Seung-gil Ryu) had its 16th Anniversary Service and held the Pastors and Church Workers' Seminar with the Speaker Dr. Esther Chung, Vice President of the United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ on February 28.
The whole congregation prepared for this day with one heart by offering 40-day-relay-fasting prayer. At this service, Dr. Esther Chung preached under the title 'Three Questions' (Luke 10:30-37) and during the Celebration Event, 12 different teams of Ida Manmin Church glorified God with various kinds of performance.
At the seminar that was held at the Hall of Manmin Day Service, Mitsubasa (a welfare facility for the aged) for 2 days, February 28 and March 1, Dr. Esther Chung delivered her message entitled 'Influential Christians.' The pastors and church workers from Nagoya, Matsumoto, Tokyo, Asahikawa, Okayama and Yachiyo attended this seminar.

New Semester Began for Manmin Bible Academy

Manmin Bible Academy arms members with the Word. The first semester of 2010 began on March 8 will last for 10 weeks. The lectures are held every Monday from 8 PM to 10 PM.
The students participate in an elementary class that consists of 'The New and Old Testaments' taught by Pastor Gamaliel Lee and 'The Message of the Cross' taught by Pastor Miyoung Lee and Pastor Youngsik Kang. In the intermediate class they learn 'The Measure of Faith' led by Pastor Daehee Cho and 'Men of Spirit' taught by Pastor Hakyoung Lim and Pastor Soojung Kim. There is an advanced class they can attend, consisting of 'Spirit, Soul and Body' taught by Pastor Dongcho Shin and Senior Deaconess Geumsun Vin. They also watch the 'The Power of God' DVD. The students offered the opening Service in the Second Sanctuary of Manmin Central Church at 8 PM on Thursday, March 4. Pastor Gamaliel Lee, the President of Manmin Bible Academy preached at this service.
